General provisions, authorship
Original content on Raye may be authored either by agencies of the community, such as the Office, or by individual residents.
Raye residents subscribe to a common set of universal observations - the Elements - beyond which their views roam free as the birds in the sky.
We are, generally, forward-looking and we do not engage in debating the truth in the world. Yet, neither can we pass through content that, incidentally or not, propagates the undermining of our people.
Raye strives for integrity and stands behind its members as do members stand behind Raye, though we are not exempt from human error. While members' content, including the one from their residential pages, is subject to light moderation, it might not possibly be verified in its entirety, including quotations and external references. We will address any eligible inquiries in this regard.
We may, occasionally, post external content. If copyrighted, we may post it as "fair use" or after requesting permission from the original author. In the case of widely available content, we may interpret the absence of a response as tacit permission, and we hope that the author, too, will find fulfillment in participating to our endeavor. Should the contrary apply, we will remove such content promptly.
Except for content on members' residential pages, we will, on request, grant permission to others to use Raye original content, provided that they're independent from the platforms of the global regime and from its political or religious institutions.
Please use the contact form with the alias "Content" for any of the purposes described above.
Additional guidelines
As a virtual realm for all aspects of living, Raye welcomes any content that may be useful to the community or that has been specifically called for by our ongoing development. Accordingly, the content should target the appropriate segments and locales of Raye (e.g. Health Point, Travel, Shows, School, and so on) and it can come in the form of essays, reviews and ratings, how-to's, news (in science, wellness, tech, etc.), artwork, designs, and so on, or as functional development, from small stores to a school, for example, with the complex aspects which that comprises. The content must be largely original, proofread for sound grammar and style, and, as summarized in the section above, it must be forward-looking - exploratory, constructive, solution-oriented - and refrain from debating current socio-political matters or censored history. The content may not misrepresent the community's Elements and it should denote pertinence, integrity, and some fine seasoning. Comments shall pass the same standards.
You may use supporting references and external material that is either free of copyrights or used per our policy above. You may use personal photos and information at your will and, naturally, with your sole responsibility.
You may use external venues (links) provided that (1) they are used lightly and only when the function or content cannot be produced or provided within Raye at the time, and (2) that they are verified for safe and unharmful content, and (3) that they are made accessible through Raye's interstitial space, only.
Transactions in venues outside of Raye cannot, by default, be made in RCU.
Unless called for by a specific locale (e.g. Den, Galleries), media should be used sparingly, and always as small samples or through links.
The content may be submitted using the Contact protocol, unless you're a long-term resident who established direct correspondence.
For work compensation, please refer to Living in Raye, as well as to Development, herein.
