Darn cold. The Hall's been winterized. But the two 500-meter wells we dug last summer are paying off, heating up General Foods and the village spa! We continue to be thankful for the miraculously low gas prices, too. Hope beats reality, though one day the Orbital Lake shall turn real.

We hope you're all having a good start of the year! For most of us this is a time for planning ahead, for the snow shovel, and for indoor improvements, and we have a sizable supply of all that scope here. The indoor gym next to the village spa never gets crowded. As for news, Raye's Office has been busy implementing a new residency application system alongside a check-in system for existing residents (hover over "Raye" in the upper right). Plenty more to do. Our own Den should see another update soon, with a parlor section taking the chatter also online. Work on a first, small shopping square - a major undertaking in Raye nonetheless - was given a tentative start date for mid-spring. Developers are sought for this and the many other projects (see Developments).
Among the more interesting world developments: Greenland - the impotence of the once brilliant Nordic nations is plumbing new lows at the hands of their "governments”, and through the long-running judeo-christian subjugation and the more recent multi-cultural destruction inflicted upon them. Iran - same old saber-rattling and sad story of the Iranian people caught in the clutches of Islam and of an incompetent leadership, but something's brewing and is inching closer to some sort of change. No one around is going to side with them, as all Arab nations are happily plugged into the globalist financial apparatus, and the result might well be the demise of the last dissenter in the region. Japan - took a bigger step toward the all but inevitable financial precipice created by their colossal debt, although any event, given the severe global repercussions, would be further delayed by interventions.
That's just to stay broadly in touch with the mundane. The big, ongoing stories are AI (and robotics) and the nascent space race. As we know, these are existentialist developments that we must keep up with. Coded machines will soon be able to mine for resources and recycle them, and to build and run factories, supply chains, farms, power stations, ad great things, all by themselves. In the wrong hands, they may also deploy weapons and carry on wars, and run brigades of "law" enforcement droids to further silence any dissent among the subject populace. History, to this day, offers little doubt about that.
Wherever you are, and if it's important to you that "you" and your people may continue to exist, and if you aim for our betterment, too, come join our unique endeavor to rebuild our future.
